Faith & Family kits are a wonderful resource to be equip your children to grow in the faith. As the Episcopal Church puts it so eloquently, “Jesus teaches us to come before God with humble hearts, boldly offering our thanksgivings and concerns to God or simply listening for God’s voice in our lives and in the world. Whether in thought, word, or deed, individually or corporately, when we pray, we invite and dwell in God’s loving presence.”
Acts of Generosity: Growing Up to Be Like Jesus
Generosity is one of the most important biblical concepts we can teach our children. The best example of generosity that has ever been seen upon the earth is the gift of salvation we have through Jesus Christ. It is through this gift that we are able to show a heart of true generosity toward God and his people.
It can be challenging to turn our child’s ear toward generosity in the midst of such a me-driven culture. Developing a heart of generosity takes time and practice. And it will help if your child sees your spirit of generosity first and foremost.
Download the booklet to begin exploring generosity in everyday life with your family. Please help your children fulfill these acts weekly and discuss the corresponding scripture, wrapping up the week with this prayer each time:

Teach Your Kids to Pray
Become equipped to teach your kids how to pray. This kit has everything you need to pray together as a family. Every day, you have the opportunity to practice a family prayer time with Daily Prayer Cards. The card looks different each week as it follows the Gospel reading and collect for the week. Every Wednesday night, we encourage families to read and have a conversation about the previous Sunday’s Gospel reading with our Weekly Gospel reading and coloring sheets. Finally, we encourage you and your kids to use the provided calendar and mark each day you pray!
