Register for Spring 2019
Education Building, Room 205
This course focuses on what “Union with Christ” actually means practically as we walk out being His disciples. We will cover topics such as God’s Big Picture, Prayer, and Life in Christ.
Education Building, Room 115-116
Explore a biblical overview of service and look at how we incorporate discipleship into our everyday lives as we join in the mission of God.
This course provides an in-depth knowledge of the Episcopal Tradition and an understanding as why so many love the Canterbury Way.
If You Want to Go Further, You Must Go Deeper
To truly follow our Lord and to “be imitators of God as beloved children” (Ephesians 5:1), we must palpably and authentically follow Jesus’ call to worship, grow, serve, lead, and give. As Proverbs 1:5 tells us to, “Let the wise hear and increase in learning, and the one who understands obtain guidance,” it is our hope to teach and guide every parishioner through the core values we follow.
Just as Jeremiah 17:8 says that “He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream,” we will grow roots of our own, carefully tend them, and look for the fruit we intend to bear. Join us in these core curriculum classes to follow what your parish deems beneficial, deep roots in our faith.
And, like a child eagerly waiting to see its seed sprout, we want to chart progress. It is our hope that every individual will attend each of the core curriculum classes. To fortify your potential, classes are available subsequent semesters in both the spring and fall. We encourage you to “Practice these things, immerse yourself in them, so that all may see your progress” (1 Timothy 4:15).
