              Maundy Thursday, April 9

Join us online as the Sacred Triduum begins with the liturgy for Maundy Thursday, during which we remember the joy of the institution of the Eucharist, the love and service which Jesus lived and taught, the agony in the garden of Gethsemene, and the betrayal leading to the crucifixion. The bread and wine of the Last Supper are given new meaning by the Body broken and Blood poured out on the cross. The Sacrament is then taken to the Altar of Repose where the faithful are asked to "watch and pray." Finally, the altar, symbolic of Christ, is stripped of its vesture and the building is left bare for the solemnity of Good Friday.

Fr. David Thompson will preach streaming worship services:

              Good Friday, April 10

Join us online for the Solemn Liturgy of Good Friday. On this day we remember the Lord of Life rejected, mocked, scourged, and put to death on the cross. As we read the Passion and pray the Solemn Collects, we remember that it is our own sins that caused Christ's suffering and agony, as he took all sin upon himself, in obedience to his Father's will. By the cross we are redeemed, set free from bondage to sin and death. The cross is a sign of God's never-ending love for us, and it is a sign of life, in the midst of death.
