Your Kids

We want you and your family to feel welcomed and loved. The Children & Family Ministry strives to provide opportunities for Christian growth, service, and fellowship through high-quality programs and special events as well as opportunities for sharing faith at home. Together, we partner in the spiritual formation of your children.

We hope that your family will connect, grow, and serve with us at Incarnation!

Nursery

Birth to Age 5  |  Education Building, First Floor Check-in

The nursery is open on Sunday from 8:45 am to 12:45 pm and 4:45 to 6:45 pm for parents participating in church programs on campus. Children of all ages are welcome in all worship services.

Nursery care is also available for various classes and activities throughout the year, usually with prior registration. See individual events for details.

Children's Chapel

Ages 3 to 1st Grade  | Education Building, Room 126
Sundays at 9 & 11:15 am

Family worship is very important, but we realize that our youngest members have difficulty sitting through an entire service. In Children’s Chapel, children hear the Gospel story in child-friendly language, engage in worship through music, and learn the Lord’s Prayer.

At the appropriate time they will be led into the Traditional & Contemporary services so that you may worship together as a family during the celebration of Holy Communion.

Sunday School

Sundays, 10:20 to 11:05 am

Classes are sandwiched between 9 & 11:15 am services with a moment to grab a cup of coffee in the Welcome Center, engage in fellowship, and drop your kids off at their class before settling in for an Adult Sunday School class.

Godly Play

Preschool to 1st Grade | Education Building, 2nd Floor

Three years old by September 1. Children discover and explore Biblical stories and our Anglican worship through the use of specially designed materials they are able to touch and feel. They are invited to respond creatively and then gather again to enjoy a feast.

Seedlings

2nd Grade  |  Education Building, Room 215

Children begin to understand the fundamentals of the Christian faith through this year-long class that focuses on baptism, prayer, and service. The last third of the year culminates in preparation for First Communion.

Connections

3rd Grade  |  Education Building, Basement, Room 026

Each lesson the children are introduced to Bible characters and their stories through watching an animated video. The children discuss what happened and how they feel about the story they just saw. Then, they open their Bibles and explore the day’s story, and reflect on the Bible story through hands-on activities or games using their learner leaflet.
