Every day God places Lazarus at our gate, and in so doing, God gives us an opportunity to be more truly human, more truly ourselves, to grow closer and closer in our relationship with God—and so more centered, more fully alive, to become, in C.S. Lewis phrase “men with chests.”
The Holy Spirit is like a spark waiting to be fanned into flame. He awaits our invitation to come and be with us and dwell in us. Inviting him into our lives and into our congregation opens us up to witness to Jesus in new and exciting ways.
