Welcome, COTI Staff!

You're here, you made it. If all is according to plan, it's at least 2-3 months before your ministry event is set to happen. This page is designed to make it easy for you to request promo materials from the Communications Team, and to allow them ample time to create an excellent plan for inviting the congregation to participate.

In fact, that's the mission of this team: To make it easy for parishioners to find and take their next step in getting involved in the life of this church.

We're here to help you do just that!

Brand Kit

Our brand standards can be found in a Dropbox folder, linked at the button here. There you will find the style sheet, current Incarnation logos, and templates for PowerPoint and MS Word.

For quick reference, our branded fonts are Garamond and Avenir. Our main branded colors are gold (#E5B53B) and crimson (#800505).

As a reminder, our written style follows the AP style, where time is written "2 p.m." or "8:15 a.m." Also, we do not capitalize the divine pronoun, so it's "his" not "His" for references to God. Finally, keep in mind that it is "Church" when referring to the universal gathering, but "church" when referring to the local gathering.

Tiers

For most event promotion, we will offer packages based on the tier of your event. Tiers must be approved by leadership and agreed upon in the planning calendar. You will be asked this information in the form below, and you will be given options accordingly.

Tier 1:

All-Church Event (pertains to ~2700 people)

Tier 2:

All-Ministry Event (pertains to your entire ministry, ~500-150 people)

Tier 3:

An event for a subset group of your ministry (usually under 100 people)

NEW! Tier 3-A:

An event for a subset group of your ministry (usually under 100 people), but one that your ministry leader has confirmed warrants church-wide publicity. (Must be approved by your director/clergy member first.)

Forms

  1. Make sure you're making a request that aligns with your department's over-arching goals. Have a conversation with your ministry department head before completing the form.
  2. Is this event new or even just new to Comms? Please schedule a meeting with the Director to discuss the goals of the event, the expected size, timeline for promotion, and other pertinent details.
  3. Finally, please be sure to complete a request form for EACH event or series of events (they might prompt you to sign in to your incarnation.org email account).

For items like lanyards, branded mugs, postcards, name tags, large signs, T-shirts, stickers, printed booklets, and event programs. If it’s not in the standard promo packages and you’ve discussed it with the Communications Director, please fill out this form.
