Missions & Outreach

Developing a Servant's Heart

Our mission is to grow our faith by serving others and to be a light to others through our love and actions. We strive to live out Acts 1:8, which tells us that by the power of the Holy Spirit we will be a witness to Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and to the ends of the earth — in our case, our neighborhood, city, and the world. Jesus teaches us to love others by serving them, and that what we do for the least of these we do unto our Lord Jesus Christ.

Over many years, we have developed a rich history of serving students in local schools and those in need in our neighborhood, while developing deep relationships with other churches and partners. This has come as an outpouring of love and support for those in the neighboring Roseland community in our zip code, in the city of Dallas, and globally.

Our aim is to offer every parishioner opportunities to join in this work — to develop a servant's heart, regardless of the age or ability.

Loving Our Neighbors Right Where We Are

Our neighborhood outreach ministries are rooted in local relationships. We partner with schools, nonprofits, and families in the Roseland and greater Dallas area to meet immediate needs and build lasting community. Whether you’re mentoring a student, preparing meals, or offering a warm smile at a neighborhood event, you’re helping share Christ’s love in tangible ways—just a few miles from home.

City

Serving Dallas with Compassion and Consistency

Our city outreach focuses on areas of deep need within Dallas, from feeding the hungry to walking alongside refugees and individuals reentering society. These ministries serve on the frontlines of homelessness, displacement, and restoration—inviting volunteers to be the hands and feet of Jesus in our city.
