No matter how many years the mentees are in the NDHS mentoring program, those who are seniors all graduate and either go to college or have plans for a productive life. It is a privilege to help the students reshape their future, develop new skills and receive love and accountability from an adult who cares. Each year we match mentees and mentors with the assistance of the Holy Spirit. As it turns out, it doesn’t matter about the age difference or color of our skin — what matters most is a commitment to showing up for these students.
