Our church has partnered with North Dallas High School, across the street, for more than a decade to mentor those students most in need. Our program is a collaboration with Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church and works closely with school administration.

Man Up and Ladies of Leadership are in need of Christian Mentors that can be an example of Christian values and support to students as they navigate their years at North Dallas High School. Students who are mentored improve relationships with teachers and staff, improve academic competence, and have greater access to other support such as tutoring, counseling, and postsecondary planning.

Mentoring requires a commitment of 2-3 times per month, which includes one on one and group meetings, during the school year. 

The goal of the program is to focus on college and career readiness utilizing communication skills, personal assessment, team building, community service, accountability, and goal setting. Will you join us in making a difference in the life of a NDHS student?
