Granger Neighborhood Ministry
Local
The Granger Ministry was started in 2006 by a few faithful parishioners who were passionate about serving the poor and is the heart and soul of spreading the gospel in our neighborhood. The ministry initially named after Dick Granger, a gentle Christian man who quietly and selfishly helped those in need in the neighborhood, of which our church resides. The Granger Ministry is modeled after the St. Vincent de Paul compassionate aid program. A team of prayerful volunteers through personal, compassionate interaction, provide short-term financial, and emotional support to our neighbors in crisis.
The commitment is to serve on a team and take cases monthly as they are presented, including quarterly Granger meetings. This is for someone with a flexible schedule, an open mind, heart for the poor and commitment to confidentiality and prayer.
