We have just celebrated the 30^thanniversary of our membership at the Church of the Incarnation. It has been for us a place of celebration, powerful fellowship and the consistent and regular gifts of Word and Sacrament. The richness of the liturgy and the music are most edifying. We were both gifted with strong Christian parents who taught us about the journey of a life faithful to the calling of our Lord. Certainly, a major part of that life is regular participation in worship and applying our talents to the work of the parish.

 

Our financial support of the parish is a priority in our lives. We have always tithed (gross not net!) our income to the annual budget. We make many other charitable gifts, but our tithe is always the priority as it is a tangible sign of the gift of ourselves to Christ and His work.

 

Flowing naturally from our discipline of tithing is how we have shaped our estate plans. We have included The Incarnation Foundation in these plans and are therefore members of the Bishop Garrett Society. Having both served on the board of The Incarnation Foundation, we are well aware of the powerful resource the Foundation is for our life together and for those who will benefit way beyond our lives.

 

For us, our gifts through the Foundation are an exciting way to flirt with eternity. We strongly encourage you to consider becoming a part of the Bishop Garrett Society!
