Shawn Torres, affectionately known in the 75204 community as Pastor T, is a dedicated follower of Christ with a strong passion for discipleship, reconciliation, and community transformation. With over 20 years of experience in ministry, he has devoted his life to helping others grow in their faith and deepen their relationship with Jesus. His commitment to holistic discipleship extends beyond the church walls, integrating faith, education, and community engagement to reflect the love of Christ.
Shawn holds a Master of Theology in Bible Exposition and Servant Leadership from Dallas Theological Seminary. He has also studied historical sites related to key events in the Old Testament, the Gospels, and the Book of Acts through Israel's Bible Extension program.
Whether preaching, teaching, or serving, Shawn's passion is sharing the love of Christ and encouraging others with the apostolic message, "Be reconciled to God" (2 Corinthians 5:20). His greatest joy comes from witnessing lives transformed by the gospel.
