Animals and our pets, dogs included, are wonderful revelations of God’s character to us (Rom 1:20). And Jesus also says that animals show us how to follow God (Mt 6:26). Now, this does not answer the question “do all dogs go to heaven?” and smart theologians have disagreed amongst themselves. Obviously God loves all that he has created. But it also raises a bigger one. How much do we believe God loves us?
