God will not give you more than you can handle: Although there are verses that sound like that in the Bible, they are not what we think they mean in its context. Rather, God tells us that he gives us his Spirit of power, to rekindle faith in us, to withstand the trials and temptations of our lives. In fact, this is what Paul’s second letter to Timothy is all about. And guess what! Paul’s words also tell us a lot about the sacrament of confirmation!
