It’s beginning to look a lot like…Advent?
We’ve often heard that Advent is about waiting. However, in the Gospel passage, John the Baptist waits in prison for his cousin, Jesus to free him. And Jesus implies that John is a prophet who prepares the World to receive Christ even when he is waiting in prison. How does waiting become a witness of the Gospel of Christ?
