Lenten Sunday School Class
Join us for a parish-wide 6-week Lenten Sunday school class “Encountering Jesus in the Gospel of John.” We will look at 6 important passages in the John’s Gospel that help us encounter Jesus through his life, death and resurrection, and through Word and Sacrament.
This Sunday School class will be taught by The Rev. Dr. Wes Hill, Incarnation’s visiting Scripture theologian-in-residence. He is Associate Professor of New Testament at Western Theological Seminary (Holland, MI). One of the most helpful books he has read is Tokens of Trust by Rowan Williams, former Archbishop of Canterbury. When he isn’t teaching and writing, he enjoys cooking and playing with his two godchildren with whom, and their parents, he shares a home.
