“Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.” This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” — Matthew 22:37–39
Our great city is one of the largest, most diverse communities in our nation. But all too often, we turn our eyes away from its neighborhoods and people in need.
At Incarnation, we believe that the heart of the Christian life is a relationship with God through Jesus Christ. And because God first loved us by reaching out to us in Christ, we reach out to others in love as well. Jesus taught that when we serve our neighbors we’re serving Christ too, and growing closer to Him. As the body of Christ, we seek to be God’s hands and feet in the world, putting the love of Jesus into action all around us.
Our church has a longstanding legacy of serving needs right here in our own neighborhood called Mission:75204. We’ve partnered with local agencies and schools, and started several programs ourselves. We hope you will find a way to serve with us.
